Nosh/talgic
origin: nosh (food) + nostalgia (memory) noun.
pleasant emotion and recollection in response to food, particularly cheese - not a real word but it should be
Similar: proust phenomenon

We think that cheese just happens to be the most romantic food in the world. It’s not only an emotive food but manages to conjure up imagery of places you want to go and brings back memories from a different time. The real name for this is the Proust Effect – described by author Marcel Proust after he experienced a flood of childhood memories triggered by the taste of a madeleine cake dipped in tea. My memories of cheese go back to dinner parties my parents would host. The ‘good cheese’ would come out. They were always fun and energetic nights, and if I was just quiet enough, my parents wouldn’t notice I was still awake, listening to their conversations amongst clinking glasses and much laughter.

When you enjoy our cheese, we hope that you are kicking back someplace with friends, wine in hand, listening to good beats or creating a little platter and snuggling up on the couch watching your fave Netflix series. We genuinely get excited about this.
