Do you deliver to Post Office Boxes?

Unfortunately, we are not able to deliver to Post Office Boxes. Please provide instructions at checkout as to where the courier may leave your cheese in the event that no one is home. If no instructions are provided, the driver will leave your box in a place deemed safe and out of sight. If it is unsafe to leave the box, it will be taken to the closest Post Office.

After you dispatch orders, how long will it take to get to me?

We aim for the cheese to get to you within 48 hours of dispatch. You will receive email notification and a tracking number. If you have purchased a subscription as a gift, we advise that you put the recipient's mobile phone number in the contact details section to enable them to receive the tracking details.You should aim to get your cheese into the fridge as soon as you receive notification of delivery.

What do you pack your cheese in?

All our cheeses are full retail pieces in original wrapping. We try our best to be sustainable and use Planet Protector packaging to keep it chilled during transit.

I am purchasing a gift - can I send a note with my order?

We have a range of cards that we can include with a personal note for your recipient. Our orders are not sent with an invoice so they make the perfect gift!

How do I dispose of my packaging?

The outer carton can be reused and is recyclable through your local council.

How soon do I need to consume my cheese once I receive it?

Individual products will have their own Best Before dates. This is just a guide (not a use by date) and our preference is to eat cheese as close to this date as possible as we love a mature and creamy cheese! We aim to send cheese with a variety of Best Before dates. It should be noted that the trade-off with a longer shelf-life is that the cheese isn't as ripe and flavorsome – but you might like a firmer cheese so that’s ok!

How do I store my cheese?

As soon as your delivery arrives, unbox and store your cheese in the fridge (the crisper at the bottom is generally the best spot). If you happen to only get through half a wheel, it is best to re-wrap it in its original wrapping or parchment paper. Avoid using cling film as it will ruin your cheese.

How do I serve my cheese?

When you’re ready to eat your cheese, take it out of the fridge and let it come to room temperature. This will make all the difference to your tasting experience! When you remove the wrapping, we lose our branding, so be sure to let everyone know its Woombye Cheese!

My gel packs melted. Is my cheese ok?

Certain times of the year will affect the gel packs. In this case, we may add additional gel packs or send your cheese in a foam esky. You should expect your gel packs to be mostly melted but still cool to the touch which means that your cheese will be safe and delicious to eat.

My delivery was late

Please email beth@woombyecheese.com with photos and a brief description if your cheese arrived in a questionable state and we’ll work to find a solution immediately! 

Are you open to the public?

Unfortunately, we are not open to the public at this stage. As much as we’d love visitors, the nature of manufacturing means it’s just not possible. However, you can enjoy our cheese locally from a number of retailers and restaurants. Check out our Store Locator page to find out more.
